Port Stephens FM is a not for profit, community supported and membership-based radio station, broadcasting to our wonderful community and the Greater Port Stephens area.
- As a community radio station we are limited in the revenue we can generate from sponsors. Revenue from our members is an important source of station financial support. All of our staff are unpaid volunteers. All membership income is used to fund station operations.
- Members have the right to attend and vote at general meetings. Accordingly, you would be welcome to attend the general meetings and to contribute your thoughts regarding station operations.
- As a new member you would be invited to observe a presenter for up to an hour to experience station operations, even selecting a track or two.
- Your child or grandchild would be invited to record a station promotion announcement to be used On-Air.
- You would be offered a birthday announcement for one of your children/ grandchildren
