Marine Rescue Port Stephens is a 24/7 volunteer-run marine communication and search and rescue service. Our mission is saving lives on the water. Our volunteers monitor VHF Channel 16 for emergency and routine calls, providing a free Log On service that boaters can access via radio, our free mobile app, or by calling the Base on 4052 2300.
Marine Rescue Port Stephens is also a 24/7 weather service. We provide weather readings and observations of local sea conditions to boaters, marine businesses, and the media. You can contact us to obtain tidal information and Bureau of Meteorology coastal forecasts.
