Port Stephens Community Woodworkers Inc.

Port Stephens Community Woodworkers Inc is a registered charity that supports the local community through woodworking activities.

We visit local primary schools with kits prepared in our workshop and help the children assemble them. We also visit disability centres, aged care homes and preschools for similar activities and assist NSW Parks and Wildlife by providing various types of nesting boxes such as for birds, gliders and possums.

We raise funds from a range of activities including Bunnings BBQs and have social activities during the year including our presentation night at our Christmas party.

Our aim is to provide a safe workshop for men and women to practice their woodworking skills, to socialise and to provide support for our members and the local community. We have a well-equipped workshop and support wood carving, wood turning and general woodworking activities and can offer advice and guidance on any project that you may wish to tackle.
