My school years were in Riverstone, NSW. My family moved to Toongabbie when I was 15. My married life was in Castlereagh, Blue Mountains. I moved to Nelson Bay in 2003. I joined PSFM in 2013 in an Admin role assisting Carol and Judy for a number of years before becoming a presenter in August 2022
My interest in music began in the early ’60s during my teenage years – the start of Baby Boomer music. I do love the singer/songwriters of the late 60s and 70s – Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, The Stones, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, Kris Kristofferson Gordon Lightfoot, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Laura Brannigan, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, Jackson Browne, The Byrds, The Eagles and many more including the British Invasion artists.
I also love the Aussie music I grew up with – Normie Rowe, Little Pattie, The Easybeats, Judy Stone, JO’K, Noeline Batley, Billy Thorpe and of course, John Farnham.
The first concert I went to was the Everly Brothers in 1971 with Daddy Cool as the support act at the Capitol Theatre. Another concert I remember was Gordon Lightfoot in 1974 at the old Sydney Stadium.
I keep active by walking and exercising.
