I grew up in Melbourne surrounded by my artistic family and wrote and produced my first play when I was eight. It was about Christmas of course. I really have always been a Christmas fan. I learnt piano and was fortunate to have passed year 11 piano practice and theory since an appendix operation problem wiped out my chance to pass high mathematics. Married Lee and moved to Alice Springs where music was part of life. After ten years we moved back to Victoria to look after our parents.
After the kids went off to university we bought a small farm where I made my storybook idea of a farm come true. Cows, sheep, geese, chickens and a large vegetable garden. I also discovered community radio soon after and am still very fond of the people there.
Like PSFM had years ago, they had a caravan which we would take out to community events. I really love my show and all our listeners at PSFM.
