Born in Newcastle at the Mater in Waratah, I grew up in Mayfield and attended Newcastle Boys’ High. At 14 Dad was transferred to Port Kembla and I attended Wollongong High. When I finished school I moved to Sydney to go to uni. I married a beautiful northern beaches girl and we lived there with our three children and various dogs. My wife and I gradually moved to the Bay from 2016 and we have been settled here since 2022 when I retired.
I started radio in 2023. I have hosted Drive, Morning and now Sunday Afternoon programs plus filled in as required.
Soft rock is my favourite genre. I like bright uptempo beats, the stuff that makes you tap away and even sing. Overall, I don’t think there is much music I do not like.
Golf is my main form of exercise and relaxation these days. I am on the Board of Directors at the local golf club. I’ve always been energetic – incl running, bike riding, & squash. I passionately follow cricket, the Swans and the Manly SeaEagles.
