I started in community radio in Melbourne in the mid-80s, working as the Publicity Officer at 3RRR FM and later presenting an Australian Music program.
From 2005 to 2018 I worked as the Voice Coach for ABC News and Current Affairs in Sydney, Regional NSW, and Hobart, as well as for SBS World News. During this time, I also lectured the short course Voice for Radio and Television through the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism at the University of Technology in Sydney.
I joined Port Stephens FM in 2020. The music I like spans 70s–80s Classic Rock, Soul, and Australian Classic Rock.
I try to stay active with cycling, walking and yoga.
