Born in Ryde Hospital, I lived in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney. I first visited the Bay 35 years ago. We have had digs here since soon after then. I joined PSFM in August 2014 in response to a promo. From High School onwards, I did a lot of singing in choirs and specialist groups. Musical theatre also occupied much of my time back then.
My big interest in the sixties was folk music, even to the point of having our own five person group – The Pathfinders. Irish Folk and Protest Music was particularly appealing at that time.
The first concert I attended was PPM at the old Sydney Stadium in Rushcutters Bay. Today there is not much music I don’t like. Involvement in Community Activities has always been an important part of my life, including LIFELINE, as well the radio station as a presenter and on the management committee. An interest in Jaguar cars has led to various involvements from racing to Concours entry to Management. Football has been a big attraction in the past. I played for 20 years until my knees decided no more.
